fourth annual tahoe brewfest, a beautiful day of brews

2021 Tahoe Brewfest note

 Tahoe Brewfest Supporters,

Keeping in mind the safety of our community, our vendors, and our guests, we have decided to postpone the 2021 Tahoe Brewfest. Our location, Lake Tahoe Community College, closes with an AQI over 350 and this week the smoke from the Caldor Fire has brought the AQI over 700 in areas of South Lake Tahoe with little sign of it subsiding by the weekend. To prevent canceling the event last minute, leaving attendees and vendors hanging, we wanted to make the right call early on.

We do still plan on giving you a new date as soon as possible and look forward to eating, drinking, and chilling in the mountains with you in a healthier, smoke-free environment. Refunds will be given, no questions asked, by emailing

The Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe and Tahoe Brewfest Team holds everyone who has been affected by the fires in our hearts and are cheersing to the amazing crews keeping us all, as safe as they can.

We also want to thank our community and our attendees for being optimistic and patient through this process and hope you all know how much we appreciate your support. On top of being an amazing event bringing craft beer lovers from around the world together, Tahoe Brewfest is also the primary fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe, a local non-profit that provides safe, fun, and educational programs for local children during out-of-school time. Tahoe Brewfest provides 15% of the Club’s annual budget. The loss of that income in 2020 was a major blow to the Club. During this past year, everyone at the Boys & Girls Club have continued to be rockstars, providing essential services for Tahoe youth! We cannot wait to have you at our 2021 Tahoe Brewfest!

Jude Wood, the Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe, shared “If you are interested in helping the Club during this difficult time you can donate the cost of your ticket to the Club or join our Team AWESOME campaign. More information on Team AWESOME can be found at and any donation over $30 gets you the coolest pair of socks you’ve ever seen (while supplies last)!  $5 of each sock will go towards building the kids a new, amazing building and the rest of the donations will go directly towards youth services.”

Options for ticket holders

All ticket holders that have rolled over their tickets for the 2021 Tahoe Brewfest have three options regarding purchases (if the new date does not work for you):

1. Keep your ticket and rock out at the 2021 Tahoe Brewfest!

2. Donate! If you’re feeling generous during this pandemic and want to make a difference in a child’s life, consider donating the cost of your ticket(s) to help pay for scholarships for children affected by the shut-down at the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe.

3. Request a refund for the purchase price of your ticket(s), minus the service fee, by emailing

*In order to receive a ticket refund or to donate the cost of your ticket, you must submit your request before the date of the event.

We can’t wait to see you for the 2021 Tahoe Brewfest, raising our glasses in celebration as we celebrate a most excellent year. Cheers!
