Featured Brews | Sierra Nevada Brewing Company

First up, our buds at Sierra Nevada, who will be serving up their Liquid Hoppiness IPA & Strainge Beast Hard Kombuchas in all three flavors at this years Brewfest!

Inspired by the Sierra Nevada Mountains that surround us, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. was established in 1979 by homebrewers Ken Grossman and Paul Camusi in Chico, California.

They shook things up in the ’80s, and it helped launch a beer revolution (https://sierranevada.com/beer/pale-ale/) that remains in full force today. Sierra Nevada continues to pushboundaries, whether that’s in the brewhouse, with sustainability, or in the great outdoors.

It’s easy to see why Sierra Nevada is your brewers favorite beer & one we’re super excited to have joining us at the Tahoe Brewfest!

Featured Brews | Solid Ground Brewing

Solid Ground Brewing is a 30 barrel production brewery founded in Diamond Springs, CA committed to crafting traditional and cutting edge beer.

The name, Solid Ground, has multiple layered meanings. Solid Ground is a synonym for Earth from which the ingredients for their beer, cider, and wine are derived and skillfully crafted. The education and experience that their brewers bring to the brewery is the Solid Ground on which they are founded.

Solid Ground Brewing is breaking new ground by pushing the boundaries of beer using winemaking techniques. They use barrel aging techniques and blend wine into beer to create harmonious hybrids. They also remain true to the centuries of brewing traditions of continental beer styles. Every beer they’ll be serving up at Theo Brewfest  has gone through a collaboration of ideas, recipes, and taste-tests before the keg rolls into Lake Tahoe.

Featured Brews | Ballast Point Brewing

What started in 1996 as a small group of homebrewers who simply wanted to make great beer evolved into the team of adventurers known today as Ballast Point. A pioneering brewery born 25 years ago within the hallowed, hopped walls of San Diego’s Home Brew Mart, the complete art of the craft swims in the DNA of Ballast Point and informs both what’s inside and on the can.

From bringing a hoppy twist to a porter or adding four types of malt to its amber ale, to creating the breakthrough gold-medal winning Sculpin IPA, Ballast Point is known for adding its touch and asking if there’s a better way.

At the 5th Annual Tahoe Brewfest, Ballast Point is serving up samples of their Sculpin and Hazy Sculpin all the way from San Diego, CA
